Ariuntungalag Mendsaikhan is a Social Scientist in the Community-Lead Conservation (CLC) project at The Nature Conservancy in Mongolia. Ariuntungalag is responsible for conducting research on social sciences issues related to Community-based microfinance, Natural resource management plan implementation, and Community-based organization that contributes to the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning of the CLC project in Mongolia.
Prior to joining TNC Mongolia in June 2023, Ariuntungalag was a National consultant as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Coordinator at Save the Children Mongolia where she was responsible for developing the Monitoring and Evaluation framework and Plan, conducting monitoring activities, designing the KAP index survey tools and apply innovative approaches to M&E activities.
She also served as a Social, Gender expert at the Community Vegetable Farming for Livelihood Improvement project implemented by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and she also served as a project manager at the ADRA Mongolia for over 4 years in Community-based rehabilitation project for the children with disabilities.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Mongolian University of Science Technology and a master’s degree in counseling education studies from Sahm-Yook University in South Korea.
